The Rant Institute was founded in 2007 as a free online web community for people to be heard. It includes the Daily Rant (site blog), Community Rants (forums), Personal Rants (blogs) and Polls.
The site is the evolution of the "Thursday Night Crowd", a diverse set of friends that meets every Thursday night to partake in beverages, fun, and stimulating debate. The Rant Institute was created to keep the discussion going beyond Thursday night.
