| Pompous Ass? Have you ever watched O'Reily? If total common sense means you are a pompous ass then he is the biggest pompous ass there is. Maybe if you got your mouth off the bong long enough you would see what is really going on. |

| Are you kidding? I love Jon Stewart but he is a comedian. He even admits that his show's purpose is to provide comedy. That fact that Kerry would choose Stewart over O'Reilly proves that he is afraid to face the real issues. Kerry thinks that he can get support from the younger generation just by going on Stewart's show. He is afraid to confront the real issues with O'Reilly. He's taken the safe way out. By the way...O'Reilly is not a strict conservative, he is a loyal independent. He will call out both political parties. He just seems conservative because the democrats are so screwed up when it comes to their politics. |

| I'm not really sure that there is any doubt Bill O'Reilly is at the very least a right leaning/mostly conservative self proclaimed hard hitting news show host. The real important thing to note here is that it's quite sad that in this day and age more and more people have to avoid shows like the O'Reilly factor, which are detrimental to society in that they offer no degree of perspective that is unfiltered, and migrate to shows like The Daily Show, on comedy central, to get a sense of what is really going on and what issues to think about. Also, your point that Jon Stewart's show is just a comedy show, while true, is actually quite ironic in that Jon Stewart is able to satirize society and point out the problems, which it seems to me that Bill O'Reilly is not only insensitive to, but diametrically opposed to by his very nature. |
