The Daily gets legit (sort of) with Ron Riggles Live in Bagdad, really.

Ron Riggle in Irqa The Daily Show has sent Ron Riggles to report from Iraq and he is really there, not just in front of a green screen. It's not fake...really

ALL WEEK (starting Monday, August 20), and this is true: Daily Show Correspondent (and US Marine) Rob Riggle will be reporting to the Daily Show audience from REAL, ACTUAL Iraq. It's called "Operation Silent Thunder: The Daily Show in Iraq".

The Daily Show’s Rob Riggle filed his first report from Baghdad on Monday night. “I’m in Iraq, you gotta believe me,” Riggle says. “I believe you, you’re clearly in Iraq. … What do you have to report about the war?” Jon Stewart asked. “The war?” Riggle responds, “I’m going to have to get back to you on that Jon.”

As mentioned by Paul Scheer on the Sound of Young America blog earlier this week, he and Rob Riggle, Rob Huebel and  Horatio Sanz are in Iraq for a USO tour right now.
