Karl Rove is gone as of August 31. The silence is deafening from the republican leadership, where's the love?

Karl Rove, the architect of President George W. Bush's two successful presidential campaigns, is quitting his White House job with little likelihood that his plans for a transformational presidency will be fulfilled.

In a parting shot, the outgoing White House deputy chief of staff Karl Rove described Hillary Clinton as a "fatally flawed" candidate. Asked yesterday on NBC's "Today" show to respond, the New York senator shot back, "Well, aren't we glad to see him go?"

Yo Karl, don't let the door hit you in the rear on the way out.

Obviously the liberals are happy to see him go. The question is...who are they going to use as an escape goat now! It's been so easy for liberals to blame things on Rove and attack Rove with their ridiculous political accusations. Who will they attack next? Because according to them Rove has been Bush's "brain"! This will be interesting to see.

It is not an issue of blaming; it is an issue of accountability. Your response seems to suggest that the Democrats are just making stuff up and pinning it on Rove. He has been subpoenaed by the United States Congress and refused to show up. He is not a scape goat; he is a felony in contempt. It will be interesting to see how Bush operates without his Brain.

Of course the democrats have made stuff up and tried to pin it on Rove. They tried to say it was Rove who was guilty of "disclosing" Plume (Wilson's wife) as a CIA covert agent. It proved to be that Rove had nothing to do with it. It also came out that prior to the whole incident involving Scooter Libby, Wilson acknowledged in print that his wife worked for the CIA. It also came out that she wasn't even a covert agent at the time. The subpoena you are referring to (I think, correct if I'm wrong) involves the Justice Dept. firing of 8 attorneys where the Dems are making a big deal out of nothing. Let's remember...Clinton cleaned house and fired 100+ attorneys as soon as he took office. Rove has always been attacked by the Dems and most of it has been frivilous.

Any man who holds stock, steers that stock and uses his powers while in office to help OR hurt that stock should not be in office.

FYI...Rove is not an elected official, so he is not in office. How does Rove use his powers to steer his stocks? It is very difficult for any ONE person to steer stocks to their benefit. If it can be proven that Rove (or anyone for that matter) profits from "Inside Information" then they should be convicted no matter what their political affilitation. No one is above the law, just ask Marthat Stewart!
